Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has assured President Bola Tinubu of massive support from the state in the 2027 presidential election. Aiyedatiwa made the commitment on Friday while receiving the leadership of the City Boy Movement, a pro-Tinubu political group, at the Governor’s Office in Akure.
The governor said his administration’s developmental achievements would provide a strong basis for mobilising voters behind Tinubu’s re-election bid. He expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress would secure a decisive victory in Ondo, while urging supporters to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the election.
Aiyedatiwa has repeatedly declared Ondo’s support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition. Earlier commitments from the governor included a pledge to deliver as many as one million votes for the President, underscoring the APC’s efforts to consolidate its support in the state ahead of 2027.
