According to him, a major takeaway from the 2023 polls especially in Lagos, was how the discourse shifted from substantive governance issues to ethnic and identity-driven sentiments immediately after the presidential election.
He observed that conversations that should have centered on competence, leadership, and national progress were intentionally steered toward tribal lines, with many citizens unwittingly caught up in “carefully designed narratives.”
