\n\nMinister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has called on residents of Abuja to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pointing to ongoing infrastructure projects as evidence of progress under the current administration. Speaking during an inspection of road projects in satellite towns, Wike said many communities are witnessing development for the first time, particularly along the Bwari–Kubwa corridor. 
He emphasized that the government has deliberately shifted attention from the city centre to underserved areas, addressing long-standing complaints about uneven development. According to him, improved road networks are already reducing travel time and enhancing connectivity, making it easier for residents in outskirts like Kuje and Bwari to access the city. 
Wike added that several projects will soon be completed and commissioned as part of activities marking Tinubu’s time in office, urging residents to remain united and supportive of government efforts. He stressed that sustained cooperation between citizens and leadership is key to delivering more development, especially in critical sectors like infrastructure and security
