\n\nThe Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has strongly criticised the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, describing his recent comments about the opposition party as “delusional.” The reaction came after Morka claimed that the PDP could no longer function as a viable political party due to internal crises and a wave of defections to the ruling APC. 
In a statement, PDP spokesperson Ini Ememobong said the APC’s remarks were misleading and part of a propaganda campaign aimed at weakening the opposition. He argued that many defections from the PDP were allegedly influenced by pressure and inducement from the ruling party rather than genuine political support. 
The PDP also insisted that despite political challenges, the party remains a strong opposition force and continues to enjoy support from Nigerians dissatisfied with the current administration. Party leaders maintained that the ruling party’s claims of dominance and the narrative that Nigeria is drifting toward a one-party state are exaggerated and politically motivated.
