\n\nThe Edo State Government has ordered the arrest and prosecution of students involved in a viral bullying incident at Igbinedion Education Centre in Benin City. The directive followed the circulation of a disturbing video on social media showing some students physically assaulting a younger student, sparking widespread outrage across the country. 
In the footage, two students were reportedly seen beating, kicking and dragging the victim on the floor, while another used a belt during the assault as the boy cried out in pain. Authorities described the act as unacceptable and said it would not tolerate violence or bullying in schools. 
Officials confirmed that the students involved have already been expelled from the school, while the police have been directed to investigate the case and ensure those responsible face prosecution. The state government also set up a committee to review the incident and strengthen measures aimed at preventing similar cases in schools across Edo State.
