\n\nFounder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, has declared what he described as “divine judgment” against bandits and their sponsors, saying retribution would come within seven days. He made the statement during a church service themed “Covenant Day of Vengeance” held at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State. 
Speaking to his congregation, Oyedepo stated that those responsible for killings, kidnappings, and violence across Nigeria would face imminent consequences. He declared that, “in the next seven days… judgment” would come upon perpetrators and those backing them, expressing confidence that divine intervention was near. 
The cleric also said the coming week would bring what he called “testimonies of vengeance”, suggesting that Nigerians would witness outcomes of the declaration. He linked the message to ongoing insecurity in the country, where banditry and kidnappings have continued to affect communities. 
Beyond the declaration, Oyedepo used the sermon to emphasize spiritual discipline, urging believers to avoid what he described as ungodliness, which he said blocks divine breakthroughs. He maintained that until what he called “the God of vengeance” intervenes, violent actors may continue their actions unchecked.
