\n\nThe Federal Ministry of Youth Development has partnered with Cascador, a Nigeria-focused platform for growth-stage entrepreneurs, to strengthen support for young Nigerians building businesses and startups.
The partnership, announced on August 15, 2026, is being implemented through the Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA) and is designed to help young entrepreneurs develop investment-ready businesses while improving their chances of accessing capital.
Under the initiative, selected young entrepreneurs will receive training focused on strengthening their businesses, improving their readiness for investment and building the skills required to scale sustainably.
The programme is also expected to create a stronger connection between emerging Nigerian businesses and potential investors, addressing one of the major challenges facing entrepreneurs — access to funding.
The Federal Ministry of Youth Development said the collaboration reflects its broader efforts to equip young Nigerians with practical skills and opportunities that can translate into sustainable businesses and employment.
For entrepreneurs, the initiative could provide more than financial support, as access to structured training, mentorship and investor networks can help businesses become more competitive and better positioned for growth.
The partnership comes as Nigeria continues to look toward its growing population of young entrepreneurs and startups as an important part of the country’s economic future.
The Federal Government, through NiYA, is expected to continue developing programmes aimed at connecting young Nigerians with skills, funding opportunities and private-sector partnerships.
