Pastor Titilayo Adewale, daughter of the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pa Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, has dismissed viral reports claiming she criticised the church’s leadership for neglecting her father’s legacy. She described the statements attributed to her as false, insisting she never accused the church or its leaders of sidelining her late father.

In a statement shared on her Facebook page, Adewale said her father’s greatest legacy was not buildings or monuments but the lives he transformed through his ministry. She explained that Pa Akindayomi never sought material recognition or personal glory, adding that it would be inconsistent to suggest he wanted his name or image prominently displayed on church structures. She also urged those spreading the claims to stop what she described as misinformation intended to create division within the church.

Adewale reaffirmed her support for the leadership of RCCG, praying for continued wisdom and strength for the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and the church’s leadership. She maintained that the focus should remain on preserving the spiritual values her father stood for rather than fueling unnecessary controversy.
