Omotayo Sanusi, popularly known as Iyan Aladuke and the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo, has dismissed long-standing claims that actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham were responsible for the collapse of her marriage. In a statement shared on Instagram, she described the allegations as false and said she decided to speak out because the rumours had continued to spread as though they were facts.
Sanusi specifically denied claims that Toyin Abraham informed her that another actress was romantically involved with Adebayo during a movie production, prompting a confrontation. She also refuted reports that she attacked or assaulted anyone on a film set, insisting that no such incident occurred and that her years of silence should not be interpreted as an admission of the allegations.
While acknowledging that her marriage ended, Sanusi maintained that neither Funke Akindele nor Toyin Abraham played any role in its breakdown. She urged the public to stop spreading unverified stories and allow everyone involved to move on from the controversy.
