South African music star Tyla has announced her first full global headlining tour, The A*POP World Tour, in support of her newly released sophomore album APOP*. The 34-date tour will take the Grammy-winning singer across Europe, North America and Africa, marking the biggest international tour of her career.
One of the biggest highlights for Nigerian fans is the confirmation of a Lagos concert on December 22, 2026. While the exact venue is yet to be announced, Lagos is one of only a handful of African cities on the tour itinerary, alongside stops in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Presale tickets are expected to go on sale before general ticket sales begin later this week.
The tour begins in Paris on October 12, 2026, before moving through major cities including London, Amsterdam, Chicago, Brooklyn and Las Vegas, and will conclude in Johannesburg in January 2027. The announcement comes just days after the release of APOP, with Tyla aiming to build on the global success of hits such as “Water” and further cement her place as one of Africa’s leading international music stars.
