The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced its 2026 recruitment exercise, inviting suitably qualified Nigerians to apply for entry-level positions on Grade Levels 07, 08, 09, 10, and 12. The commission said the recruitment is aimed at strengthening its workforce and urged interested applicants to submit their applications through the official recruitment portal before the deadline.
Applicants are required to create an account on the official recruitment portal, complete the online application form, upload the necessary documents, and submit their applications. INEC stressed that the exercise is completely free, warning candidates not to pay anyone claiming to offer employment or influence the recruitment process. The commission also advised applicants to provide accurate information, as false declarations will lead to disqualification.
The application window opened on July 20 and is scheduled to close on July 27, 2026. Interested candidates can begin the process through the official INEC recruitment portal and are encouraged to carefully review the eligibility requirements before applying.
