Nigerian music executive and entrepreneur Ubi Franklin has advised young men against having children with multiple women, describing it as one of the biggest mistakes they can make. Speaking on an episode of his podcast, Talks with Ubi Franklin, he reflected on his personal experiences, saying that while he has managed to navigate the challenges, others may not be as fortunate.
Franklin explained that the greatest difficulty is often not providing financial support for the children but managing relationships with their mothers. He warned that the emotional strain and conflicts commonly referred to as “baby mama drama” can become overwhelming, regardless of a person’s financial status. Urging young men to learn from his mistakes, he encouraged them to build stable families and have their children with one partner whenever possible.
Despite expressing regret over some of his past decisions, Franklin described children as one of life’s greatest blessings and stressed the importance of making thoughtful choices before starting a family. He added that his podcast series would continue to focus on sharing personal life lessons and experiences that could help others avoid similar mistakes.
