Many social media users doubted the mathematics behind the claim, arguing that a roadside corn business would need exceptionally high daily sales and profit margins to generate such income. Others suggested the seller may have misunderstood the question or exaggerated her earnings, while some speculated she could own multiple sales outlets or have other income sources. A number of commenters also expressed concern that the publicity could expose the woman to security risks if criminals believed the claim.
