The Nasarawa State APC Chairman, Aliyu Bello, has dismissed concerns that former Inspector-General of Police, Abubakar Adamu’s defection to the Social Democratic Congress will weaken the party ahead of the 2027 elections. Bello urged party members to accept the outcome of the governorship primaries, insisting that the APC remains strong due to its achievements in governance, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and federal support. He also criticized supporters burning APC symbols in protest, saying such actions cannot erase the party’s impact in the state.
