\n\nSenator Adams Oshiomhole has denied reports suggesting he claimed that senators’ signatures were forged during the suspension process of Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
The former Edo State governor clarified that his comments during an AIT interview were misinterpreted, stressing that he never alleged signature forgery. According to him, he only referenced a claim by a member of the Senate Ethics Committee that attendance signatures of some senators were attached to the committee’s final report.
Oshiomhole backed the position of Senate spokesperson Yemi Adaramodu that no senator’s signature was forged, noting that no senator had ever complained to him about such an issue.
He added that the controversy surrounding Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension had been settled and that the Senate had moved on, expressing regret if his remarks caused any embarrassment to the institution.
