\n\nThe Plateau State Police Command has confirmed that three security personnel were killed during an attack by gunmen on the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, in the early hours of Monday.
According to police spokesperson SP Alfred Alabo, security has been reinforced around the facility, with additional patrols deployed on the orders of Commissioner of Police CP Bassey Ewah.
Police say the situation is now under control, normal activities have resumed, and investigations are ongoing.
NIPSS Kuru is Nigeria’s premier policy training institution for senior public officials, making this one of the most significant security breaches at the facility in recent years.
