Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has alleged that the Department of State Services (DSS) has taken custody of a whistleblower identified as Justice Mark Chidiebere, popularly known as “Justice Crack,” and presented him to activist Peter Akah at its headquarters. 
According to Sowore, the development followed what he described as the transfer of the activist from military custody to the DSS, a move he claims was intended to manage public scrutiny and shield alleged misconduct involving the Nigerian Army. He further alleged that authorities are now planning to prosecute the whistleblower, a decision he strongly criticised. 
Sowore rejected any move toward prosecution, insisting that Justice Crack should instead be released unconditionally, and called on activists to mobilise in protest at DSS offices. The claims remain allegations, and there has been no official response from security agencies at the time of reporting.
