Suspected thieves have reportedly raided buses belonging to federal government workers at the Niger State Secretariat complex in Minna, carting away valuables and causing damage to the vehicles. The incident is said to have occurred within the premises where civil servants park their official buses. 
According to reports, the attackers broke into multiple staff buses and stole items including batteries and other vehicle components, leaving many of the buses vandalised. Workers who resumed duties discovered the incident and raised alarm, describing the situation as both shocking and troubling given that the secretariat is expected to be a secured environment. 
The incident has sparked concerns among civil servants over security lapses at government facilities, with calls for stronger surveillance and protection of public assets. Some workers expressed fears that repeated attacks of this nature could disrupt official operations if not urgently addressed.
