A breast cancer survivor, Deborah Mbara, has accused social media personality Blessing Okoro (popularly known as Blessing CEO) of altering her medical report to deceive the public and solicit donations. In a viral video, Mbara alleged that Blessing used her original diagnosis documents to falsely claim she was battling stage-four cancer, triggering widespread outrage online. 
Mbara explained that she had initially tried to support Blessing emotionally after hearing about her supposed illness. During their conversations, Blessing reportedly asked her to share her medical reports under the pretext of comparing them with her own diagnosis. Trusting her intentions, Mbara provided the documents—only to later discover they had been edited and circulated online as part of a fundraising effort. 
The controversy has intensified following confirmation by the Nigerian Medical Association that the report in circulation was originally issued to another patient and had been altered. The incident has sparked calls for investigation and possible legal action, especially after reports that millions of naira were raised through the claims, raising serious concerns about fraud, public trust, and the misuse of sensitive medical information.
