The Katsina State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has strongly condemned the renewed wave of bandit attacks across several communities in the state, describing the killings of residents and security personnel as unacceptable. The party expressed outrage that such violence continues despite earlier peace arrangements in some affected areas. 
Speaking in Katsina, the party’s state chairman, Lawal Tukur-Batagarawa, blamed the persistent insecurity on what he described as failures in leadership and inadequate protection of lives and property. He extended condolences to families affected by the attacks, particularly in Matazu and Musawa local government areas, where multiple casualties and destruction were reported. 
The ADC warned that the continued attacks highlight serious concerns about the effectiveness of current security strategies, noting that violence has persisted even in communities that previously reached peace agreements with armed groups. The party called for urgent and decisive action to address the worsening security situation and restore safety in rural areas across Katsina State.
