President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has consoled a grieving mother whose heartbreaking video went viral after she was seen clutching the lifeless body of her son following the recent killings in Jos, Plateau State. During his condolence visit, Tinubu addressed the woman directly, acknowledging the emotional video that captured her anguish after the Angwan Rukuba attack. 
Speaking to victims’ families, the president expressed empathy, telling the woman he understood her pain after seeing the footage. He said only God could truly comfort her and admitted that no amount of compensation could replace the lives lost, while assuring that the government would support affected families. 
Tinubu’s visit comes after the deadly attacks in Jos that left dozens dead, sparking national outrage and grief. The emotional moment with the mother has since become a symbol of the human cost of the violence, as calls intensify for stronger security measures and justice for victims across Plateau State.
