The Plateau State chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has confirmed that four Muslims were killed while ten others remain missing following a deadly attack on the Angwan Rukuba community in Jos North Local Government Area. The incident, which occurred on Sunday, is part of a wider wave of violence that has rocked Plateau State in recent days. 
According to JNI, the figures were established after investigations and reports from affected Muslim communities. Some of the victims’ bodies have been identified at the Jos University Teaching Hospital, while the missing individuals have not been heard from since the attack, with their phone lines unreachable. The group also disclosed that at least two injured victims are currently receiving medical treatment. 
The attack is believed to be part of a larger assault that reportedly claimed dozens of lives and left many others injured, highlighting ongoing security challenges in the region. JNI expressed condolences to the affected families and called for calm, while also acknowledging efforts by security agencies and the government to restore order in the area.
