Speaking to reporters, Trump described the discussions as “very good and productive,” adding that recent engagements with Israeli officials suggest any eventual agreement would bring “long-term peace” and stability to the region. 
The talks come amid a three-week conflict involving the US, Iran, and Israel, which has significantly disrupted global oil supply and heightened geopolitical tensions. Trump confirmed that planned military strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure have been temporarily paused to allow diplomacy to continue, signaling a possible shift toward de-escalation. However, Iranian officials have denied that direct negotiations are taking place, contradicting US claims and underscoring the uncertainty surrounding the discussions.
