Nigerian Fintech Redtech to Expand into 29 African Countries by 2027
\n\nRedtech, a fast‑growing Nigerian financial technology company, says it will grow its services across Africa.

In 2025, Redtech processed over $20.6 billion in digital payments. This shows the company is becoming more trusted by businesses in Nigeria that use its systems to move money and make payments.

Because of this strong growth, the company plans to expand beyond Nigeria. Redtech says it aims to start business operations in 29 African countries by early 2027. This move will help many more businesses and customers in other African countries use its payment services.

To support this big plan, Redtech is also planning to raise about $100 million in new funding. The money will help the company build stronger systems, meet rules in different countries, and grow faster across Africa.

Redtech began in 2020 and offers services that help shops, companies, and banks take payments, move money, and run digital financial services smoothly. As the company grows, it hopes to help even more small and large businesses work without problems when making payments.

The planned expansion shows that digital payments are growing fast in Africa, and Nigerian tech companies like Redtech are playing an important part in that growth.
