A newly inaugurated member of the Abia State House of Assembly has denied reports suggesting he is considering a move from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the Labour Party (LP), describing the claims as unfounded speculation.
The lawmaker, Aaron Uzodike, who was sworn into office on the platform of the PDP, addressed the rumours following growing discussions about possible defections in Abia State’s political space. According to him, there is no ongoing plan or agreement to abandon his party affiliation.
